MANCHIKANTI YADAGIRy JR.COLLEGE

Manchikanti Yadagiry Junior College was established in Bodangiparthy 2008 to honor the father of Dr. Laxmaiah Manchikanti. Yadagiry served his community in many ways through public service and advocating for educational opportunities.

As of May 16, 2023, Manchikanti Yadagiry Junior College has been handed over to the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Telangana Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (https://mjptbcwreis.telangana.gov.in ). In light of this change, the college has been renamed as “Manchikanti Yadagiry Memorial Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Telangana Backword Classes welfare Residential School” 


The junior college has grown much since then with a student body of 329 students and 15 staff members during the 2022- 2023 academic year.

Since the founding of the college, it has graduated thousands of students, many of them as professionals. Students receive a high quality education at no cost to them. The Manchikanti Educational Charitable Trust provides 100 percent funding of the college. The college is a stepping-stone for students to pursue other higher educational pursuits. The college offers several labs that help students choose fields that will help them to grow with knowledge and experience. Students have access to lab rooms dedicated to Botany, Chemistry, Computers, Physics and Zoology. The college is housed in a campus that also includes a pre-primary school, a primary school and a high school. The junior college also provides transportation to and from college every day with busses owned by the MECT. To learn more about student scores see following pages
